5. Longxin Foundry Model Train Parts production service process:
Longxin has three rought parts production lines: resin sand casting,centrifugal casting and forge line.
Sand Casting Process
Firstly, according to customer drawing, our engineer design casting drawing.
1) Material & Mold
==Molding materials preparation:
Molding sand, core sand, furan resin, water and etc
==Mold/pattern preparation: wooden or metal material
Make the mold shape: manual molding for large parts and machining molding for small.
Mixing the sand, furan resin and other auxiliary materials- making core-paint and assembly the mold, sand frame, and the core and press to tight-drawing the mould, paint and dry the mold shape
2) Melting & Pouring: intermediate frequency electric furnaces
==Make pilot bar- test chemical composite- if ok, continue the melting
==Pouring and melting temperature test
3) Mould assembling & Open boxes
==Clean the cast and remove the casting head
4) Grind &Polishing
==Clean, sand-blasting
5) Testing Items
==Check the size to the original drawing
==Mechanical test and ultrasonic flaw detection, metallographic detection (if customer require)
== Final check according to the drawings
6) Put Casting Goods in storage
==Surface treatment options: polishing, sand blasting, heat treatment, paint, power coating, anodizing, electroplating, mirror polishing
==Precision machining options: CNC, milling, drilling, numerical lathe, peel, polishing and etc
7) Packing & Delivery
==Standard export package (Wooden Case/Bulk/OEM As Request)
==Accept FOB, FAS, CNF, CIF door to door etc or customer designated shipping agent.
Centrifugal casting process:
Precision machining metal mould according to customers’ products.
Other steps, melting, pouring, opening, clean, tempering similar to sand casting.
Steel forging process:
Forging– Normalizing & Tempering – Proof Machining- Quenching & Tempering – Finish Machining
