Amphibious Coastal/River landing craft 48 Passenger (bus size) / Light Cargo aluminium boat

for Sale. It is not a city street based "Dukw". This is a robust and high specification built in 2009. It is a "Larc" type vessel, which can drive up on hard mud/sand/gravel which was further developed in France and is used for commercial shellfish and tourism. It is 38 feet (11.63m) long by 12 feet (3.8m) beam approx. There is a wheelchair friendly toilet onboard and has storage for black water (toilet) onboard. It has a capable ship stability book. The drive is hydraulic, with each wheel driven by hydraulic motor. It can be transported by road.

Seats can be removed. Roof can be opened.

It was designed by Dutch Naval Architect – Hugo Van Der Zwan and hydraulics by Marshall Engineering. It is a Passenger ship operating in a large estuary and licence may be upgraded. She has six sealed compartments under deck.

It is robustly built to a high specification in Marine Grade Aluminium. It has a differential lock giving high traction. It is environmentally friendly. There is no external exhaust going into the water and engine is air cooled.

It could also be used commercially. A crane may be added. It can drive beside a truck to take a pallet to a location on water or an island etc.

This vessel would be useful on the shore side, estuary of pipeline or windfarm etc. No need for a nearby pier.
